The Tampa Bay Mineral and Science Club was first established in 1957. Originally founded with the communal intent of bringing passionate individuals under one roof to promote and study natural mineral sciences, we are proud to carry on that tradition decades later.

Moving toward the future, we continue an evolution set by TBMSC's founding members. We are proud to continue their tradition to foster an increased understanding of the rocks and minerals which are the composition of our Planet Earth — then how to turn them into usable pieces to add to jewelry and other craft projects. We also aim to use
Moving toward the future, we continue an evolution set by TBMSC's founding members. We are proud to continue their tradition to foster an increased understanding of the rocks and minerals which are the composition of our Planet Earth — then how to turn them into usable pieces to add to jewelry and other craft projects. We also aim to use our club's resources as a vehicle for passing on the fine skills of lapidary, metalsmithing, faceting, wire wrapping and other forms of creative art.

Board Meetings are the first Monday of each month, at 6:30 pm.
Our quarterly members meetings are at 11 a.m. on the first Saturday of March, June, September and December.
